Senior Brand Manager, Retail

The Opportunity

The organisation is now seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of a new, unified brand strategy across a large multi-site retail estate and all customer touchpoints.

Reporting to the Marketing & Retail Director, this role offers a rare opportunity to shape, roll out and embed a brand at national scale. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, retail partners, suppliers and agencies to drive brand consistency, customer engagement and commercial performance.

This role is ideal for a strategic yet hands-on brand leader who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and enjoys seeing brand strategy come to life on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive brand strategy aligned to business objectives and market trends
  • Own brand identity, tone of voice and visual standards across all physical and digital touchpoints
  • Lead the rollout of a refreshed brand across multiple retail locations in partnership with design, fit-out and signage partners
  • Support and coach internal marketing and retail teams on brand execution and best practice
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Operations and E-commerce to ensure brand alignment
  • Manage external creative agencies, media partners and suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Use customer insight, research and data to strengthen brand perception, loyalty and relevance
  • Lead brand research initiatives including tracking, segmentation and insight development
  • Oversee a portfolio of owned-brand products, including positioning, packaging and brand architecture
  • Plan and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns (in-store, digital, radio, print, events)
  • Set and maintain high standards in in-store visual merchandising
  • Partner with Operations and retail teams to enhance the end-to-end customer experience
  • Own and evolve the brand’s digital presence across web, social and CRM
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints
  • Coordinate PR activity, partnerships, influencer collaborations and local sponsorships

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success delivering integrated brand and marketing campaigns
  • Strong experience managing creative agencies and media planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Confident project leader with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of customer behaviour

Your Background

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years’ experience in brand management, marketing or consumer insights
  • Experience working in complex or multi-site environments
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills
  • Results-focused, analytical and solutions-oriented
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Resilient and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
