This company is reimagining a legacy category with a fresh, design-centred, and sustainability-focused approach. Their unique, press-led strategy has already landed them national headlines — and now, they’re looking for a PR & Communications Manager to take that momentum even further.
This is a rare opportunity to join as one of the company’s first key hires, working directly with the founding team to shape how the brand is seen, heard, and experienced by the public, the press, and partners.
The Opportunity
As PR & Communications Manager, you’ll lead the execution of a media-first sales and storytelling strategy. From headline-grabbing campaigns to community events, you’ll own the brand’s public presence — and play a core role in building long-term relationships with our core audience of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the brand’s media and comms strategy: PR campaigns, press releases, and activations
- Plan and manage events such as press photocalls, school-based initiatives, and sustainability activations
- Act as a key liaison between the company and partner organisations, ensuring engagement and alignment
- Cultivate relationships with early supporters and turn them into long-term advocates
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, and digital teams to bring campaigns to life
- Monitor and report on campaign results, press coverage, and engagement metrics
Ideal Profile
- 3–5 years’ experience in PR, communications, events, or partnerships (agency or in-house)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Confident communicator comfortable speaking with media, community stakeholders, and partners
- Creative and strategic thinker with strong execution skills
- Hands-on event management experience
- Bonus points for passion in areas like storytelling, education, or sustainability
