We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Specialist to join a forward-thinking company that’s passionate about making a difference in children’s education. This exciting role will have you creating the marketing strategy for educational products for 5-18 year olds, ensuring that they resonate with target audiences (teachers / schools / principals / parents) and align with commercial goals. This role is hybrid, based in D24 (3 days per week in office). It offers a good salary, bonus, pension and further benefits as part of a friendly, helpful and progressive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to drive product awareness and adoption in the target audience (teachers / schools / principals / parents).
- Plan and lead promotional strategies for Primary and Post-Primary product categories.
- Manage advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including digital (Google Ads, social media, third-party platforms) and print.
- Create compelling marketing materials such as brochures, product content, and promotional assets.
- Collaborate with authors and internal teams to create engaging video content for product promotion.
- Campaign Management
- Set up, monitor, and optimize email marketing campaigns, generating performance reports to drive improvements.
- Update and maintain the company website, ensuring accuracy and alignment with marketing goals.
- Organize and execute webinars, collaborating with authors and presenters, and measure success using defined KPIs.
- Coordinate product surveys to gather valuable customer feedback, working closely with Sales and Commissioning teams.
- Market Insights, Research & Competition Monitoring
- Conduct market research to uncover trends and customer insights that inform marketing strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry shifts to identify new opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the marketing voice in Go-To-Market and Product Development teams.
- Collaborate with Sales and Commissioning teams to ensure marketing efforts align with broader objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
- Reporting & Budget Management
- Track KPIs for marketing activities and report on campaign performance.
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient spend for product promotion.

- Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience
- A strong foundation in Marketing with a formal educational background in Marketing or a related field.
- 3-5 (or more) years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on driving product success.
- Experience in publishing or education sectors is a plus.
