Marketing Manager, Retail Entertainment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join a retail entertainment brand at their first stage of market entry. Since launching in Summer 2023 they have opened 5 venues with plans to open 10 more throughout 2024 and 25 over the coming 18 months. Backed by an international group with over 1000 stores in their home territory, this ambitious business is now seeking a Marketing Manager to lead their marketing endeavours and build an entertaining brand with a sense of humour at its heart.

You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience in Ireland as well as managing and operating our Irish social media accounts. This role combines creativity with a pragmatic approach to budget management, ensuring high-impact results. You will report to the Head of Operations and have support from the global marketing team.

Who we are looking for?

An ambitious Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive or similar with a minimum 4 years experience who is capable of creating and implementing a marketing plan to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business vision and objectives.
  • Manage and optimise marketing budgets to ensure maximum impact and ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4 years or more of proven experience, ideally in consumer marketing, particularly in roles requiring creativity and budget management.
  • Experience in social media management and execution.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish market and ability to leverage local insights in marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and willingness to travel to various locations in Ireland and internationally.
  • Familiarity with digital and traditional marketing channels and metrics.
