We’re working with a global B2B Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical organisation operating in a regulated, innovation‑led environment to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager for an initial 6–9 month contract.
This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys owning marketing programmes end‑to‑end, from planning through execution, while coordinating multiple internal teams, external partners, and delivery timelines.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you’ll take responsibility for turning high‑level marketing priorities into structured, deliverable programmes. You’ll manage integrated campaigns, oversee creative workflows, and ensure consistent execution across digital, brand, media, and event activity.
This is a client‑facing / stakeholder‑heavy role that blends strategy, delivery, and operational rigour.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day‑to‑day marketing lead for key stakeholders
- Translate business objectives into clear marketing plans and campaigns
- Own campaign planning, timelines, and delivery across multiple channels
- Coordinate creative development, approvals, and asset production
- Manage brand and messaging consistency across all outputs
- Support digital content, social, and website updates
- Coordinate paid, earned, and sponsored activity with external partners
- Support event and sponsorship planning and delivery
- Manage suppliers, agencies, and production partners
- Track budgets, spend, and campaign activity against plan
- Maintain campaign trackers, documentation, and reporting
- Contribute to performance reviews and optimisation recommendations
Ideal Background
- 7–10+ years’ experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical, life science, medical device sector or similarly regulated industry – either in-house or in agency
- Strong campaign and programme management capability
- Experience in agency or complex in‑house environments
- Comfortable working across brand, digital, content, media, and events
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Highly organised, delivery‑focused, and detail‑oriented
Contract Details
- Contract length: 6–9 months
- Start: Immediate / short notice preferred
- Working model: Hybrid / Remote (Ireland‑based) – you can work from home with some client meetings on site. You can attend the office if you prefer.
