Head of Customer Marketing – FMCG

A brilliant opportunity has arisen to lead customer marketing for an amazing Irish heritage FMCG brand on their transformational journey. Reporting to the Marketing Director and managing a small team, you will manage brand-led trade marketing activities across a range of channels.

Who we are looking for:

An experienced Brand or Trade marketing professional with a consumer-centric mindset.

The Head of Customer Marketing will:

  • Manage the sell in and activation of all marketing and brand assets with customers
  • Manage all branding with customers and operate as the brand guardian with customers
  • Develop consumer centric seasonal campaigns which are relevant to the customer and our brand strategy
  • Develop and deliver compelling customer presentations outlining how our brands can deliver for consumers
  • Sharing of customer feedback internally in order to feed into the development of new innovations and brand assets
  • Collaborating with brand team to identify assets required which hit a sweet spot for customers and consumers
  • Collaborating with innovation team to help identify gaps in the market and share customer intelligence
  • Overall project management of retail channel with close collaboration with Sales and brand teams
  • Develop compelling brand stories for retail.
  • Negotiate shopper marketing campaigns with retail customers
  • Collaborate with the innovation and brand teams in the development of new and innovative solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and to develop a best in country training academy for our customers
  • Manage budgets for the customer marketing team
  • Manage trade marketing manager

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in brand or trade marketing
  • Experience at delivering brand or retail campaigns
  • Experience in managing customer relationships
  • Commercial acumen
  • A 3rd level degree
