ECommerce Manager – Irish Consumer / Retail Brand

We are currently looking for an eCommerce Manager to join an ambitious and growing team. This newly created role will play a central role in delivering on the business growth objectives as they currently exist, and new opportunities as they emerge from the data management and analytics elements of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for UX and optimisation of  eCommerce websites and commercial reporting of same
  • Reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the sales and marketing functions, you will be required to manage consumer and customer email databases (D2C & B2B) with respect to outbound communication and lead generation campaigns
  • Responsible for bringing a mix of brand campaigns and micro-targeting campaigns to life through compelling copy and visual assets
  • Manage top-of-the-funnel lead generation, and take responsibility for reporting of full lead generation campaigns within the business – this will require strategy and planning around use of CRM, machine data, email marketing, digital social, paid display
  • Oversee and demonstrate value for all online social media content and spend for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and emerging platforms

  • An understanding of brand and campaign management
  • Creatively minded with a good eye for design. Experience with some graphic design programmes is bonus, but not essential
  • Efficient at prioritizing, scheduling, and managing online content and managing workload to meet business deadlines
  • Strong technical and analytic skills, including the ability to link design and features to strategic objectives and the ability to use the data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, D2C eCommerce or closely related role, foodservice or FMCG preferable
  • Demonstratable proficiency in email marketing and CRM systems
  • Experience of commercial reporting with the incorporation of Google Analytics or a similar web analytics tool
  • A 3rd level degree with professional qualifications in requisite technical areas
