Who are we looking for:
A marketing professional with more than 6 years experience of Go to Market (GTM) and Product Launch within the telecoms, utilities, energy, consumer financial service or other consumer service industries.
As Proposition Marketing Manager, your role will manage:
Product and Proposition Strategy
- Work closely with the senior management team and product managers to set product strategy and vision and ensure alignment with Proposition objectives.
- Collaborate with the product development teams to understand and successfully convey the features, benefits, and unique selling points of our latest products.
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
- Work with brand team to conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning.
- Create a sense of ownership and pride amongst team members to deliver high-quality work outputs.
Product Launch Planning
- Development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and existing product ongoing development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including strategy team, product owners, sales, fulfilment, and customer experience, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing market support.
- Assist in the development of customer journey / empathy mapping to ensure the smooth introduction and maintenance of products through their life cycle.
Content Development
- Work with brand and digital teams to assist creative agencies to create compelling and effective marketing collateral, including product messaging, website page content, presentations, social content and influencing campaigns, case studies and testimonials, and sales enablement materials.
- Develop compelling product description copy that effectively communicates the value, description, and suitability of the product to the intended audience. Helps to drive demand and collateral for campaigns
- Collaborate with other content creators to produce engaging content that highlights the value propositions.
Sales Enablement
- Assist sales teams to provide 3rd parties, sales and customer facing teams with the tools and training aids needed to effectively communicate the value of products to customers.
- Working with the product owners and training teams to develop and product training sessions for customer-facing teams.
Campaign Management
- Assist communications teams with designing and executing product marketing campaigns to generate awareness, leads, and customer engagement.
- Work with the rest of the marketing team to utilize a mix of online and offline channels, including digital marketing, events, and partnerships, to maximize reach and impact.
Analytics and Reporting
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of products and product marketing initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize product and marketing efforts.
What you’ll need:
- Go to market / product launch experience with 6 years plus experience in a Marketing role within the telecoms, / banking / energy / consumer services industry.
- Proven experience of delivering successful BTL marketing campaigns and development of sales collateral.
- Previous experience of working with external marketing agencies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads under pressure.
- People management skills with the ability to motivate a team of professionals.
