Brand Manager

We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to manage a major portfolio of high profile international beer brands across the Island of Ireland (incl Northern Ireland). The successful candidate will lead the development of the brands and adapt, execute and evaluate annual brand plans for the assigned brand cluster. Ideally, applicants will be commercially focused and will have 5+years’ experience in the FMCG or Drinks industry.

As Brand Manager you’ll:

  • Develop a local marketing strategy in line with global framework of portfolio of brands
  • Develop and deliver annual consumer and brand performance objectives, derived from business plan and based on thorough performance review of brands
  • Customer engagement – responsible for ensuring commercial teams are equipped with the right tools and selling materials to support the sell-in of compelling brand plans to customers, tailored as necessary to maximise opportunities by channel
  • Work closely with Insight, Finance and Sales teams to closely understand the commercial performance of your brands, highlighting and course correct as required, and identifying opportunities for further revenue and profit growth
  • Product/Packaging – manage the development and delivery of all brand materials, maximising visibility and impact across all sales channels and routes to market
  • Communications Strategy – work with our partner agencies & internal communication/events manager to develop and execute brand communications strategy to include digital and media planning, press and events programme in line with brand objectives for IOI. Manage relationships with other geographies in which your brands are sold to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of investment where possible.
  • Budget Management – Management of brand budget and delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget
  • Manage and track all aspects of the brands performance and produce insightful quarterly and annual reviews to brand partners

Who You Are & what you bring to the team;

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Marketing or Business degree
  • Passion for consumers with an understanding of the FMCG sector
  • Entrepreneurial, challenger mindset
  • Highly commercial marketer, comfortable in managing multiple brands to P&L level
  • Good creative judgement with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding results
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Strong ability to build and leverage relationships with internal teams, senior management, agencies and consultants
  • Strong communication skills.
