ABOUT THE ROLE
To develop and lead Dublinia’s digital marketing strategy, growing audiences, increasing online engagement and driving revenue through compelling content, data-driven decision making and innovative digital campaigns.
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead all aspects of Dublinia’s digital presence including social media, content creation, paid advertising, website management, SEO, analytics and customer engagement.
The role requires a commercially sharp, performance-driven digital expert who can combine creativity with insight and translate data into measurable business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Content Creation
- Lead Dublinia’s presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
- Create compelling photography, reels, short-form video and behind-the-scenes content.
- Showcase Dublinia’s living history experiences, exhibitions, collections, events and people.
- Develop engaging campaigns that build brand awareness and audience loyalty.
- Build and nurture online communities.
- Develop influencer and creator partnerships.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and identify new opportunities for audience growth.
Paid Digital Campaigns & Audience Growth
- Develop and manage paid campaigns across Meta, Google and other relevant channels.
- Manage campaign budgets and maximise return on investment.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise continuously.
- Support online ticket sales and visitor acquisition strategies.
- Develop audience segments and targeted marketing initiatives.
Website Management & Digital Experience
- Lead the management, maintenance and ongoing development of the Dublinia website.
- Ensure content remains engaging, accurate and aligned with Dublinia’s evolving brand.
- Improve user journeys and optimise online conversion.
- Manage SEO strategy and website performance.
- Coordinate website developments with external partners and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the digital visitor experience and online engagement.
Analytics & Performance
- Develop a culture of data-driven decision making across digital marketing activities.
- Monitor and analyse website, social media and campaign performance.
- Produce regular dashboards and reports for the CEO and Senior Management Team.
- Translate audience insights into clear recommendations and actions.
- Test, learn and optimise campaigns to improve performance and return on investment.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to support future growth.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior digital marketing role with responsibility for audience growth and campaign delivery.
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media channels and creating engaging digital content including photography, video and short-form content.
- Experience planning, implementing and optimising paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google.
- Experience managing and maintaining websites and content management systems, with a strong understanding of SEO and user experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.
- Experience interpreting data and translating insights into practical actions that improve audience engagement, online conversion, and commercial performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of customer journeys, digital conversion, and revenue generation.
- The ability to work independently, exercise initiatives, and contribute strategically as part of a senior management team.
Desirable:
- Experience within tourism, attractions, hospitality, heritage, culture or visitor experience sectors.
- Experience with CRM systems, audience segmentation and email marketing platforms.
- Experience managing agencies, external suppliers and creative partners.
- Experience leading website developments or digital enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of AI tools and emerging digital technologies.
- Experience presenting performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership or boards.
